During our participation in the great annual conference of Congo on energy “NRJ7” organized by the Federation of Enterprises of Congo (FEC) in Kolwezi last May, we had the honor of having Mr. Thierry Claeys Bouuaert with us, as an advisor (Former CEO of the BCDC bank, responsible for the bilateral section DRC with the CBL-ACP).

In addition, our company had invited 3 Chinese manufacturers of solar street lamps and solar power plants to accompany us to Congo to participate in the NRJ7 conference and meet the players in the energy sector in order to see the potential and demand of the sector.

Thanks to his network and his long experience in Congo, we were able to make very important contacts, in particular with a group of 24 village chiefs gathered in a hotel in Kolwezi who were very interested in our portable solar kits, and in solar power plants of 100 to 200 KW.

Indeed, within the framework of the social responsibility conventions of mining companies, public interest projects can be financed by miners, including energy projects, to electrify and light villages.
